If you love anchovies on your pizza, ask the pizza shop to put them on after the pizza’s been cooked. They are less salty and juicier. Try this once and you’ll never go back. Might even work on people who hate them.

mmmmmmm uncooked anchovies on pizza. I’ll try it. These days I rarely make a tomato-based spaghetti sauce without first frying up some onions and anchovies first as a base, then add the tomatoes.

and makes sense uncooked will definetly try it.
Ahh, anchovies… they are wonderful. Me and my boyfriend had one of those magic “couple moments” in a pizza shop a few weeks back when we both realised we like anchovies, so now we always get them.
But personally, I think they’re better salty and dry than raw, although I’ve never had raw ones on a pizza… hmmm… maybe next time..
Apparently, you can let them dissolve in the cooking sauce too, which gives a rich bitey flavour without the fishy aftereffects.
